Gaming events over the weekend included an opening session of In Nomine on Friday night and a game of Civilization on Sunday. The latter really is a great game, and I'm thinking of hosting a dinner party along the theme. Bread, dips and table wine I think.

Date: 2006-08-16 03:22 am (UTC)Moving is something I wish to do very little of! Unless it with a backpack and little else!
In Nomine looks like it'll be fun. I like the d666/d111 resolution system. Very cute.

Date: 2006-08-16 06:56 am (UTC)Oh, my collection includes Empires of the Middle Ages (which we once played a single game which lasted over two years), Kingmaker, Hacker, Diplomacy, BattleTech, The Forever War ....
I prefer combination strategy/diplomacy games like Civilization, Diplomacy and EMA.
