Have spent the day at home suffering from a rather nasty bout of unspecific nausea. Unable to simply do nothing compiled almost five thousand words of notes from Karl-Otto Apel's Towards A Transformation of Philosophy, which effectively takes up the linguistic programme of the latter Wittgenstein to raise applications especially in scientific and ethical knowledge (it would, of course, also worked for aesthetics). Apel is highly influential on the social theory of Jurgen Habermas.

Attended an excellent housewarming party in Preston on Saturday for Richard O'B., and caught up with many people in that circle of friends. Excellent conversations concerning the first page of the Internet, and how popular music is actually getting worse. On that topic have managed to snaffle a ticket to see Simple Minds, Devo, and The Church at the end of the month at the Palais.

Thursday night was another evening of Pendragon after a one month hiatus, almost finishing the story of the Fisher King. As is the wont of Pendragon, some of the PCs are beginning to suffer the effects of old age, and their children are getting to the age when they can take over. With only one session remaining in our Sunday GURPS China game, discussion abound for what is next. I have a personal temptation towards Earthdawn or Eclipse Phase.

Latest additions to the Isocracy website include Le printemps érable ("The Maple Spring") on the Quebec victory on student fees and the right to demontrate and a reprint of a book review and commentary on Franceso Fatin by Joe Toscano. Stephen Spirgis has promised a review of the (abridged, I hope!) edition of Rising Up and Rising Down, whilst I'm putting together a piece on Syria. All in good preparation for Saturday's Annual General Meeting (Facebook event).
