Green-Labor Alliance, Gothic Bastille Day, Gaming Updates

As the NSW Labor Party has sought to end an electoral alliance with the Greens, I have started a Labor-Greens Alliance, along with a lengthier analysis at the Isocracy Network. The objective of course, it to cement Labor and Greens into a proper united front - it won't be easy and it will take a lot of work. But after all, it is Bastille Day and one must have a revolution on this day - and of course the best thing about this year, it follows Friday the 13th. Appropriately, watched Quills, which sort of includes both events.

Four reviews published on rpg.net this week Rifts, Rifts: Thundercloud Galaxy, Rifts: Path of the Storm, and Rifts: Vampire Kingdoms (you would think there was a theme). Have a couple more in the works including RuneQuest 6 which was released this week, and looks pretty good from first impressions.

Well, in the first nine hours over 150 people signed up. So I went to bed at 1am and logged in at 9am.. There were 5 more people wanting to join. And then another 3 in the past hour.

So, yes, I think this is going to be a success..

You're the second LJ friend to ask me that yesterday . Yes I am , but I only use it to send letters to a good friend in Thailand , using Google Translate . I HATE facebook ! I'm a member of their main (A)narchist and Esperanto communities , but NEVER receive notifications ! It's badly thought out and grossly overrated . LJ is far more interactive ! Please don't ever try to communicate with me there !

I agree LJ is much better in so many ways... But with 900 million people I'm not likely to ignore FB as much as I don't think terribly much of the interface.

I think I told you about my eccentric English friend , Don , who teaches Chinese languages to Chinese students at Hong Kong University . He told me exactly the same as you did , but I still never get any notifications from those two key communities .

OK, that's for specific groups, what about the general settings. Go to the drop down menu on Home (top right) - General Account Settings - then Notifications on the left hand side. That will give you a full list of your notification settings.
