I reckon I could have quite a lot of fun playing a "Rolemaster Classic" game set in Shadow World again... There was certainly a lot of opportunities there.
Running a Rolemaster game certainly requires a tight leash however. The great quantity of optional and house rules creates a situation that the game can go seriously awry in terms of power levels and/or become far too complex if the GM isn't careful.
