The English are ditherers and are about to fall. There is no way they can hold the Channel for example. Offer to support the French in their invasion in exchange for Belgium. You can make a good argument for it as it established a neutral buffer zone between France and Germany, whilst at the moment there's troops bordering each other. It frees up France to convoy an extra unit (which they will need) into England. You may also wish to try to extract a promise for support for when you invade Scandanavia (which must happen)
