Thanks for the kind words. Indeed, I have many good memories of times with my rodent friends. I said to caseopaya this morning that there's a rodent-shaped gap in my life at the moment.
However I have an interest in moving to Germany in the next few years and we have to let our less-long lived pets go prior to that (the cat apparently can get a pet passport!). So it would be irresponsible to pick up another rodent.
(Someoene's going to have to take over the care of our turtle! The thing is going to outlive us!)
