The past week at work has seen two events of note that I've had some involvement in. The first was a seminar by Dr. Liz Bowman who discussed the use of HPC systems and scientific applications (Afni, R, Freesurfer) in the early detection of psychosis in adolescents. Today, ran an all-day course compiled from the three main HPC courses for non-systems staff members. Given that it was pitched to both administrative staff and programmers, the range of backgrounds made for a fairly challenging presentation. Despite this it seemed to go very well, and follow up seminars and staff seminars are likely.

After hours a great deal of time has been spent on putting on the last features of RPG Review, which should be available in PDF very shortly. In the meantime, there some articles that I was directly responsible for, including an interview with Tadashi Ehara, an article on gaming world cosmology, and a long article on Werewolf : The Yugoslav Wars. Graphics for the latter two articles haven't been added yet, and I'm currently finishing an article on twenty great adventure settings. The conclusion of the second story for the latter chronicle was finished on Sunday, with the succesful recollection of artifacts from the Historical Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Thursday also had a very full session of The Great Pendragon Campaign with the player knights encountering cannons from King Mark's mercenaries as he invades Logres. Next session will witness the defense of Camelot with reinforcements from a player-knight's Oxford forces.
