That never-ending labour of love, RPG Review, has had its twenty first issue released. With content orientated around computers and roleplaying, there is lots of excellent articles on theory, reviews, history, and the like. Really happy with the content-heaviness of this particular issue. Next issue will be based on "Contiuum", looking at the 'big survivors' of the RPG industry, like D&D, Traveller, RuneQuest, Tunnels & Trolls, and Chivalry and Sorcery - after twenty-five to thirty years they're like aging rock-bands. Without the sex and drugs of course. No, gamers don't do those things. The RPG Review store continues to do well, although amusingly a couple of items I've put up on Ebay for auction have sold for more than the "buy me now" price I had for the store; a wider market obviously.
Two good articles on the Isocracy Network site this week. The first by
nairiporter recognises the purchasing of land over the developing world (especially Africa) and the impoverishment this contributes to. The second by Chet Gaines compares free market ideologues with religious beliefs. The third action is the establishment of the mailing list for the various authors involved in the project of the Isocracy book.

caseopaya and I went to visit Chris S., and Donna W., at their new home in Belgrave (close to their old home). After an excellent lunch we walked off with a trek through the Dandenong Ranges. Was encouraged by Chris to have a closer look at SLURM as a resource manager. Preparation is underway for next Saturday's ongoing Cheesquest, which is becoming increasingly difficult.
