Tomorrow night will be (by my reckoning) the second-last session of Horror on the Orient Express. By the close-of-business on Friday I'm hoping to be able to be able to start the transition plan for users for Project Trifid is nearing completion, which has been a pretty epic adventure. Saturday day will be the Annual Penguin Picnic for Linux Users of Victoria. Saturday evening is the AGM for the Victorian Secular Lobby. Sunday morning I will be giving an address on The Contribution of Unitarian-Universalists to Isocracy. Sunday afternoon will be running another session of Twilight 2000 where I have major campaign events planned for the Free City of Krakow. Sunday eveing we're going to collect a young Noisy Miner, because evidentally we don't have another animals on our house. Oh, and apparently I'm turning 45 - like I have time for that!

In the past few days I've also accepted an offer to return to Murdoch University to start a Graduate Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Education, with a plan to go on to do a Masters in Education. Also, I have taken up an offer to be a plenary speaker at the 2013 IEEE International Symposium on Technology and Society in Toronto in June this year. Also delighted to meet up with [personal profile] cheshire this afternoon, who has kindly provided me a range of reading material including Luger's Artificial Intelligence and Hofstadter's Gödel, Escher, Bach, which I've been meaning to read for over twenty-five years. This time I don't have an excuse!
