The Australian Labor Party, in an act of political suicide, has chosen Mark Latham as its leader for the next Federal election.

I'm seriously thinking of voting Liberal.

Book launch!

"Radical Humanism: The Personal and Social Philosophy of Jim Cairns", by Lev Lafayette, will be held at 6pm Saturday 6th of December at the Moonee Valley Racecourse function room at a special memorial function for Dr. Cairns. An entrance fee includes a copy of the book.

Former Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Trade and Industry, Treaurer, Minister for the Envrionment, Chair of the Vietnam Moratorium movement, founder of Confest and author of 15 books and pamphlets, Dr. Jim Cairns was one of Australia's most well known and respected political and cultural leaders.

This summary of his political and cultural intervention and his radical economic and psychoanalytic theory was written immediately after Dr. Cairns died on October 12, 2003.
