I love beautiful, strong architecture. It shows that when built properly something can stand for hundred, and in the case of classics like the pyramids, thousands of years.
The cheapness of many of the glass and steel modern skyscrapers is not nearly as grand. Although things like The Crystal Palace would have been a quite a wonder.
