But they are responsible for perpetuating existing racism and for not ensuring that there is justice for indigenous Australians. Canada has managed to develop a treaty with its first nations. It is long overdue for Australia to do the same. It was supposed to happen by 1990!
Are they integrated into society or do they still live apart ?
Both are true to a large extent and in the worst possible way. It's a third-world society in a first-world country.
