Awesome, thank you for that. Very appreciative of those comments, they show some good thinking there.

On Doc Weasel's remark, what is said is very true and inightful, but of course being "plot driven" and "character driven" are not exclusive in actual play. Handled correctly (and I think we did that), it just turns the crank of the awesomeness level up a notch because it provided a beautiful golden opportunity for additional conflict between what the Guards wanted to do (character-wise) and what they had to do (plot wise). Which is a hell of a driver in a story.

And the Guard prevail.
