They're certainly needed in Esperanto to make it phonetic . Without them , Dr. Zamenhof would have had to invent new letters . I don't know what "keyboard bindings" are , but I'm sure the problem could be solved . Even though I used the converter thingummy , my message to the Esperanto Yahoo Group came out as gibberish .Where there's a will - or more likely profit - there's always a way ...
