Well, the tick-a-box was really what a fair bit of the Financial Management was - calculating ratios etc. So it was either you used the right formula and gave the right answer or you didn't. There was however, about 50% of the grade from an interpretation of a balance sheet and profit/loss. Apparently I did well there too.
Management Perspectives was a bit weird. I picked a few of the more obvious theoretical frameworks that seemed to make sense, left out plenty and drew conclusions which were apparently sound. I guess the weakness in that course is that because management theory is so undeveloped that anything perspective taken will be out of date by the following year or two.
