I grew up Salvation Army. I am no longer a Salvo, the abovementioned behaviour one of the reasons. The Salvo minister and my Aunty* (also a Salvo) did something similar at my Nana's funeral. While Nana faith was very strong in her, she was never a show-off about her faith and never tried to push it in anyone's face. This is not what happened at her funeral and I am sad for it.
