I don't have any problems with recognition of the inclusion of distorting subjectivity within perception and experience (the philosophy of critical realism does the same) and ultimately expression. However imo Kant's model of space-time as in intuition certainly is a metaphysic.

One of these days however I will get around to reading Allison's book...
