Not sure about "post-pop". I remember many years ago doing a course in popular culture when I presented a pretty hefty theoretical analysis which took up the mass distribution methods of "popular culture" and combined them with the political objectives of the "avant-garde", creating "avant-pop".
This was 1992 or so... I really should have continued with it as I've noticed that the term has become quite important in cultural anthropology..
