I heard on the ABC last night that Australia and East Timor have renegotiated a temporary international boundary that will be reviewed after 50 years. It's apparently drawn such that revenues from Greater Sunrise will be split half-and-half. Jose Ramos Horta was quoted as saying that it was a good deal for East Timor, but it's not clear whether it's a good deal per se, or whether it's the best they could ever hope to get out of Canberra.
