I understand - but do not agree - with his argument. It's a problem that all producers of information goods face.
A stronger argument would be that libraries are less relevant and increasingly so because books are so readily available in electronic media.
But I feel the same way about physical university campuses as well. Which I am sure that doesn't make some of my teaching colleagues happy.
