Yes, indigenous suicide rates in Australia are about double that for those of non-indigenous descent, which is a similar metric in Canada too, I've noticed. Of course, this is gender biased as well - men are about five times more likely to commit suicide that women.

Aboriginal health issues run across the spectrum; life expectancy (about 2/3rds), domestic violence rates, etc. It's a pretty harrowing set of statistics.
